unbelievable designs of course from one of the founders of airline industries. buzz flyers from the 90's are masterful pieces of art.

I'm trying to figure out a way to frame all 24 fliers from that booklet series they did, just as they were finishing up their run as Buzz's main flier designers. They never released the binding clips, so I have two copies of each flier and think I could turn it into a really cool looking piece to hang up. Maybe four sets fliers, front and back, each set covering 3 months of events.

I have way too much stuff I need to get framed right now too :sadblue:

The snowboard industry has its pulse on the graphic design community, a lot of sick work put on those big boards. I know that Ride Snowboards profiles the designers they use on their website.

Some skateboard deck companies are the same way. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on some of the Girl decks that Evan Hecox designed.

Akira Takahashi is another member of Airline, along with Paul Miller. I think Todd and Akira co-founded, and Paul joined around 97-98.

Airline Industries made the sickest fliers ever, in 96-98 when I was in Greensboro, North Carolina throwing parties at a place called Babylon we always wanted them to do a flier for us but somehow that never happened.

I didn't know Todd Baldwin, never met him, but after his death you could tell that he was very well known through the DC art community by the various "in memory of" and "dedicated to" you would find here and there.

Including the September flier for Cubik.

Definitely very talented, though a lot of this designs all had the same look to them. I really didn't dig that part peice of his portfolio, but definitely talent involved in his creations.
