Earplugs are definitely a good idea, even if you don't think the sound is too loud. We're all damaging our hearing.

if you don't have a track ringing in your head for at least 36 hours, then the sound guys didn't do their job. Mine is still going strong, now if i could only figure a way to change tracks. keep on shining!

I actually thought the first room when you come in wasn't loud enough. I'd come from the back room and it seemed a lot quieter. maybe it was just me...

The rubik room was way to freakin loud for that space. Not to mention needs a little tweekin. Too much treble. I had to scream to be heard and my friends were standing right next to me. That's expected in the main room, but it would be cool if the rubik room could serve as another respite from the main room madness. Great tunes in that room though.
I wasnt bitchn just thought it was louder then back n da day!!!

when i stepped out on the main floor for the first time last night i was blown away... was amazing loud i thought. i'm beginning to think ear plugs are going to be a wise investment :sadblue:

yah the upstairs room was just a bit to high-endish.,., thats because of the location of the speakers. The horns were basically at head-level so it may have seemed a bit much. As for the rest of the club, Nation had recently gone thru out the club testing all the cabinets, everything is at prime-level. If it was to loud for you, you either a) just need to get some ear plugs for future use, or b) havent been out to clubs that much and you'll soon find your self "broken-in" soon.

I had to take a few breaks outside, its nice to have the music move through you and all but I dont like them ringing for so long. I wouldnt change it though, just keep areas that arent so loud!

Ya I was in awe, especially after waiting around here in Pittsburgh and watching the trickle of a scene goto pot. The whole Nation experience was great, you just can't beat the diesel-like bass in the front room for dnb. The floor just dosen't vibrate, it freakin moves. Beatutiful. Does anyone know any of the specs on the sound system????
:breakdance: :woot:

If your talking about the room which Dieselboy and Scott just spun at this weekend, well then thats actually the main room, not the front room. Thats actually the side where most of the live and stage performances.
So the mainroom. oh yes, kick ass system.
Crown Amplification thru an EAW AVALON Sound System with bss sound web processing. The booth is capable of three Technics 1200 turntables, two CDJ-1000's, and has an installed Pioneer 600 and Rane mp2016 rotary mixer w/ xp2916 exterior processor; and a slew of other stuff installed, but thats the motherload.... When we have stage performances, we bring in more gear, and sometimes Nation lets us use some of the concert sound.

Ya, I know I meant the front room thanx, I think the sound is just closer to you there added to the dnb utilizing the wooferz very nicely =P
