Hello DJs
I will be hosting The Launchpad, a weekly XM Satellite radio show starting
every Tuesday from 8-10 pm. The purpose is for up and coming DJs to gain
exposure by broadcasting CD sets to over 500,000 XM listeners across the
US and Canada. We will be highlighting up and coming DJs from all over
the country. The show will be mostly pre-recorded, but will also include
some live performances. The following categories will be included (each
week is devoted to a single genre category):
Trance/progressive
Techno
Breaks
DnB
House
If you'd like to submit a set for the show, please be sure to include a
tracklisting, your booking info, and a short bio. Include how long you've
been spinning, and let us know what genre you would categorize your set.
Sets should be 60 minutes or so in length, though we may edit them down if
necessary.

Please keep in mind we are highlighting DJs from all over the country. If
you know DJs from other parts of the country who might like to

I think I sent you something a little while back, but I'm not sure. Do you mind checking? My latest demo is a 2 disk set and the cover is orange/white/gray and says DJ Twist on it. If not, I would like to send you one or you can hear my mixes on my site @ www.BAJAworks.net

Do the mixes have to be exclusive to The Launchpad?

haha, tryin to revive an old thread? whateva, its cool. I'm really hopin i'll like my next mix, and that it'll pass the judgement of the XM gods, and get some air play. that would rock the spot.

Can we submit original electronic music that doesn't fit into any of those genres?

Some people call it ambient. Some call it IDM. Others say downtempo, but I'm not sure I agree with that. Someone wrote that it fits in a new exciting genre called "Psy-DM." I could care less what its called...

Keenan what I want to know is, if we send you a mix and you play it on air, are you going to notify us and give the DJ whose mix it is proper recognition??? How will you go about doing this?? Will we be notified when it will be broadcasted if we don't have XM radio like me? And do you need tracklistings?? Thanx bro
