What is the one movie you've seen that was SO bad, you wished you could get the previous 2 hours of your life back?

I can safely say that I despise most hollywood movies geared toward a. Teens B. Women or C. Toolboxes (ie. the general public)

that I actually went into a movie theatre to see?
The Heist and Coyote Ugly.
I saw Here on Earth at home, and although it was abysmal, I was laughing so hard I don’t think the time was wasted. Here’s an actual line from that movie: “This thing that you have with him? It’s going to turn out to be just that---a thing.”

Maybe it's because I'm an aspiring model and I didn't like to be shown the shallowness of it all. I was offended by the light humor, and what's so funny about eating disorders?
The best/funniest parts of the movie were all shown in the trailer.
I could have done w/out seeing that.

I have the amazing ability to be able to tell if a movie is going to be good or crap just by the previews. If I deem a movie looks shitty, I won't see it. It's that simple. Any crappy movie that I have sat through is because I was FORCED to, usually by ex-girlfriends.

I'm not talking about "Two thumbs up" type critics. If I see or hear about a movie that looks interesting, I'll do my homework to see if it's worth seeing. Yes, I will actually read the entire lengths of multiple reviews. And I pick up info from friends who are fairly discriminating in their judgment.

Worst movie I ever saw had Nicolas Cage running around some city shouting "I'm a Vampire! I'm a Vampire!" but I cant remember what it was called.

i saw titanic once. girl i was seeing at the time begged me to take her. she cried like half the movie. i was all like "awww, here cry on my shoulder" and we made out the other half of the movie.
with that said, i agree with anyone who says that it was the worst movie ever.

I have to disagree with some of these.
House of 1000 Corpses is not a bad horror movie. I think a lot of people were expecting way to much out of it. It's creepy, it's disturbing, it's in the vain of Texas Chainsaw Massacre while having a style of its own, and it's a damn good movie to watch on Halloween. It had so many elements I like in a horror movie. It wasn't the next big thing, but it was damn cool.
Titanic- I would call it a very vanilla movie, but I wouldn't say that it was bad. I enjoyed it. It's not near the top of my list, nor is it near the bottom. I think the problem was that it got so much hype, and in doing so, became a curse for Leonardo Decaprio (who had just previously done the reimagining of Romeo & Juliet) for being set in as a huge Hollywood heartthrob. Decaprio is an excellent actor, both before and after Titanic, and is doing a decent job of shedding the romantic tragedy typecast that he aquired from the American Public in the late 90's/turn of the century.

But Rob, would you add 28 Days Later to your list of bad movies?
I know I did.
velvetgoldmire

28 Days Later is near the bottom, but it had some saving grace in direction and style points. But, it wasn't enough to raise it from all of my issues with the script and the fact that it was a zombie movie, but he was trying so hard for it not to be.

Rob…I think they’re looking at it as ‘What did I not like’, rather than ‘‘worst movie I’ve seen”. I appreciate some movies that I didn’t really like because of certain aspects within that actual making of it.
Ie. a lot of people wouldn’t really care for “The Graduate” all that much…BUT the editing work done with the montage scene in the middle was brilliant. It is an amazing movie, it just won’t speak to some people.
A lot of the guys on here will put down chick flicks as the worst…movie…ever…but they simply didn’t like it.

ie One part of me loves it, but there's another part of me that hates the first part because that part of me hates it.

i understand what house of 1000 corpses was trying to do. i understand what vein it was in, and all that jazz. in fact, we discussed that as we watched it. however, when asked what the worst movie i have seen recently is....i still answer, house of 1000 corpses.

I'm a chick and I hate chick flicks. The only one I liked at all was Fried Green Tomatoes, but the last time I saw it was when I was 8 years old... so I don't think I want to revisit it and find out it really sucked all along. Oh, and I liked Thelma and Louise too. But I don't consider it a chick flick.

It needed less freak-factor and more scare-factor.

I thought Titanic was a solid movie with a tight script. Nothing spectacular IMO, but not horrible.
