** This event is now postponed because of the weather. (The Pimps of Joytime were going to be driving down from Brooklyn on Thursday afternoon and driving back up Friday morning.)

I'll be DJing at the Black Cat Backstage at some future date, opening for the Pimps of Joytime (http://www.myspace.com/pimpsofjoytime). Doors open at 9 p.m., and the cover charge is $10.
The Pimps of Joytime bridge underground funk, soul, pop, dance, Afrobeat, and Latin, filling every song with soulful harmonies and uplifting vibes. They have released two albums on Nickodemus’s Wonderwheel label: “High Steppin” and “Funk Fixes and Remixes.” Their newest album, "Funky Brooklyn," is coming soon.
