me and my fucked up face
Ive never managed to get to the stage where i wanted to express myself through the blog format, but here goes.........


Recently i was invited to play at the soundwave festival in Canada, i arrived a few days early to try to experience the event as a punter, my mistake.
What happened next was something i was unprepared for.........
The night before i was going to play, the 12 of july, i was attacked from behind by some very brave fellows indeed.
As i walked back to my tent by the sea in darkness, using a torch to shine on the ground to avoid potholes, i was hit on the back of the head with a stone or branch, then as i turned around to see two guys, an asian dude and a white guy, the next thing i remember is looking at the ground with blood running over my hands and clothes, i had taken another blow to the left hand side of my face, which i assume was a rock or a smooth blunt object.
Now in these circumstances, which i would go so far to say that it verged on attempted murder, or gbh at least, there was no indication of motive.
My own reaction to the situation has proven to me that i have retained my dignity in all of this, and i know that i can deal with a fair amount of pain and discomfort.
My cheek was fractured, ive got 20 odd stitches, im gonna loose a tooth, i have scars that will be there for life, plus i may need to get reconstructive surgery to bring back my smile.
It will take more than fake men with sticks and stones to take me outa the game

i gotten semi-randomly punched in the face but there was an asinine reason behind it. it was because someone told this dude that i tried to rape his girlfriend, who was someone i was good friends with. he was this white trash, backwoods gangsta douchebag that had the incapability to listen to reason and when i said whoever told him that must've not had their facts straight or was lying, to which he replied "my girl told me, you calling her a liar?". he then proceeded to punch me RIGHT IN THE FUCKING EYE and with a few follow ups on the side of the head, then walked off.

i'm not a fighter, a pussy is what some would call it, but, even if i was, i would have remained too dumbfounded to retaliate. i had no idea how it went from me waiting for my douchebag friend (who i didn't realize was a sketchy douchebag at the time) to get out of night classes to getting punched several times. sure enough i had a wicked black eye for a couple weeks. told people i scrapped with some kid at the mall and, even though he got a few good punches in, i was the one who walked away =x

I got clocked once randomly in the back of the head for no reason what so ever by some guy at a club in ft lauderdale when I was in college...he probably made one of the worst decisions of his life.

As I was heading to the bar to get another beer, some guy hit me, I (being drunk as shit myself) wheeled around and swung at him, connected in the side of the head, all the while two of his buddies kept saying "yo its not him bro.....[insert his name here] thats the wrong guy"...he didn't listen and was now infuriated because I swung back so we both start exchanging blows...unfortunately for him, I was there with all of my fraternity brothers (most of whom were 'roid-ed up meatheads or NCAA Division 1 football players), and one of my them saw this and ran over and smashed a beer bottle on this guy's head, dropping him to the ground... his friends ran like bitches as a bunch more of my brothers came up to jump in. as this guy was trying to stand up, seven of us proceded to give this bamma one of the most vicious stomp treatments ive ever seen, let alone participated in....untill security dragged us outside and threw us out...but as I was being dragged out, I looked at the guy and im pretty sure he was completely unconscious as he wasn't moving and his nose was blowing bloody snot bubbles (an indicator of unconscious snoring). even worse, the fact that he split my eyebrow open (which I didn't notice untill I was outside and saw all the blood on my shirt and face) pailed in comparison to the amount of blood on my boy rick's shoe (we think the blood must have been a result of a kick that broke his nose, because his puma's and socks looked like a crime scene)....I was almost worried we may have left this guy brain damaged, but my fraternity brothers who weren't involved or didn't get kicked out said he did come too and was escorted to EMT's outside, but that his face and arms were mangled.
