I-Cue is a staple in the NYC jungle / dnb scene. A hipstep pioneer, he has been dj'ing, producing and releasing tunes since the early 90's, amongst others on the famous label Liquid Sky / Jungle Sky records. Not only is I-Cue one of the most skillful turntable technicians in the US Drum and Bass scene, this native New Yorker has spun at the now legendary NASA and is presently a Konkrete Jungle NYC resident. His skills are ingenious, his tracks are creative and unique, and he is a pro as he lays down the experimental foundation of the hip step style - a hybrid mash-up of hip hop, jungle, drum and bass, and breaks. Originally from Berlin, Amadeus has been pushing the sounds of Ragga / Jungle / Drum N' Bass for over a decade now. A Brooklyn resident, he travels throughout the US, Canada and Europe to perform, co-hosted Plan B aka King City Sundays with I-Cue in NYC and is also the mind behind SURVIVAL STORY - The Ragga Jungle Compilation www.survivalstory.net. Known for highly energetic performances, mixes www.soundcloud.com/amadeusmixes and as of recent his own production www.virb.com/amadeus, Amadeus blends anything from high energy hipstep rollers to ragga-jungle, with an emphasis on reggae, dancehall and hip hop remixes. After hosting the weekly drum n' bass event "Plan B Dnb Sundays" together they formed King City Rockaz, a tag team bringing the most rockin', dancefloor bangin Hip Hop and Reggae Dnb Remixes for people just to have fun with and dance to. Simple and effective, they're gearing up to unleash some serious genre-bending and booty-shake inducing tunes and mixes. Rinse out!
