It's glorious.
You walk in and there's a red curtain all around you, with the doorman. You pay and walk through the curtain. Walk inside and turn right to get to the DJ booth set up on a table, dancefloor-level. Walk inside and go straight to get to the bar. In between is the dancefloor. Go upstairs for bathrooms and a chill-out room. Go up one more flight for top floor with another bar, smaller dancefloor, and another DJ setup with video. All the floors are covered with those construction floorboard things you use when a house is under construction -- great for dancing. All the windows are covered and shut. You cannot hear anything from the outside, so if you don't know the address you wouldn't even know there's a party going on.
Smoking was allowed indoors when I was there, that may have changed.

what's up with this venue?
it's some dudes' house off Rhode Island NE. 2 areas of music as I recall. hellishly hot in the summertime, but it is a fun party. I have liked the mix of people that have been there...and have always wondered who you have to talk to to get a gig there... ;)

yeah sorry i should have been more clear - i went to one of these parties too, and it was great. just trying to figure out if they are still going on and/or who is promoting them.
