Loda is about redefining definitions of who, where and what we are by creating an uplifting environment for lovers of electronic music and artistic environments. We strive to bring artists that have never played in DC in an effort to showcase our community, broaden our musical palette and understanding of the larger EDM landscape. The depth and breadth of quality electronic music right now is nothing short of incredible. Coupled with the explosion of digital arts and the rise of the creative class, there's no other time we'd rather be alive and doing what we do. We hope you'll join us this week, this month as we continue to push things forward bringing new people and experiences to our community.

BRYAN COX BIO:

New York’s Bryan Cox has earned his international recognition through the invention of his signature house-meets-techno prime-time sound. That style was a launching pad for his brand new critically acclaimed music which can be described as bangin bassline fidget house. With his non-stop touring and production schedule, his peak-hour music has filled dance floors all over the world and will continue to this fall when his biggst Euro tour yet kicks off at Turnmills. Working with the industry’s biggest names, and his productions on every major label in the industry, Bryan has quickly carved a place for himself in the upper tiers of the global electronic music scene. Bryan's 100+ tracks, debut album and himself have been featured in magazines such as Entertainment Weekly, Mixmag, DJ Mag and URB, Showtime's "Queer as Folk", as well as in mix cd's by top DJs such as Marco V., DJ Dan, Joey Beltram, Donald Glaude, Richard "Humpty" Vision, Hatiras, Preach, and more. He has also appeared on prime time radio broadcasts from Fergie's London BBC Radio One show to XM Radio's top rated Ultra Music Radio program "The Move" and Sirius Satellite Radio. Bryan has done work for the industry's top labels such as Ultra, Subliminal, Fine Tune, IHR, Eden, Kingstreet and more. Remixing a wide variety of top artists, anywhere from Joss Stone to Ferry Corsten to Trash Fashion, has kept Bryan very busy when not traveling abroad. Nearly every track Bryan's produced has reached #1 on the DanceRecords.com charts. As well as numerous #1's on Juno (The UK's Largest). Bryan had around 20 number one hits in 2005/6 alone. Being licensed to the "This is Techno" CD, which included tracks by Moby, Crystal Method, and Underworld, was a crowning moment for his "Music is Movin" track. "The Smackdown", Bryan's radio show, was the most listened to radio show on the worldwide 1groove.com. It was broadcast alongside such other notables as Defected Records and Chris Leibing. Bryan Cox is respected not only in the production genre but as an internationally sought after DJ. Bryan's played huge festivals like the Ultra Music Festival (Miami), Dance Valley Festival (Amsterdam), Detroit Electronic Music Festival, and Rave Smile (Brazil). Brazil, China, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, United States, Japan, Europe, and the U.K. are a handful of the locales that he has performed world wide. Bryan’s unique sound brings elements of funk, dirty basslines, stuttered vocals and wavy synths to house music. Known as a DJ that make the crowds never want to stop dancing, he brings a refreshing element to the dance scene.

DEVIANT SOUNDSYSTEM BIO:

Deviant Soundsystem are a raucous DJ/producer trio. Three
boys from the dirty south, with dirty and devious minds to match. In
the past year they burst onto the world fidget scene with their jumpin' bootleg's being featured on Kiss 100 and a spate of releases on Venga, Secure, Crux, Second Session, Electric Sushi, and Dangerbox. They have remixed some of the scene's heavyweights like Defunct!, Hot Pink Delorean, Rustler, Gigi Barocco, and Jay Robinson. They also have a slew of upcoming releases, free bootlegs, and insane live edits. DSS have been on a North American tour in 09 destroying all Major Citys, New York, Los Angeles, Miami and so on. Spring is seeing all 3 boys team up with Bryan Cox on a stent of soon to be classic releases on New York's infamous "Crux Records"
To keep it short and simple Deviant Soundsystem are 100% Filth.
