Growing pains

We have moved to a larger and much faster server. Please bear with us as we work out the kinks in the migration.

PS - the message board as also been updated. There will be some exciting new features added in the weeks to come (and hopefully an end to all the spam!)

Just FYI - when I linked to the new board from the old one & tried to use the log-in on the left side of the screen, it sent me back to www.buzzlife.com/forums (and the "we're moving" message). When I used the log-in on the top right, it was fine. Not sure if that's just me or if there's something wrong with the form on the left side. (I'm not complaining, I just noticed it & wanted to let someone know :D)

Can't wait to see the new features :D

It was probably because the DNS hadn't finished propagating which can take up to 48 hours. It should all be complete by now. Also, FYI for everyone Dane will be installing the hacks to stop all spam and all that asap. :woot:

what is the purpose of buddy list invites? I mean this was a feature the board has always had, an ability to add names to buddy list and PM whole groups or click a name to PM. but it didn't really seem to have a practical use since most people just use trillian or some other messaging system.

is there soem other magical use for it?

First Ive been clicking the "postreply" button to the top left of the quick reply box.

Second if you look on you user control panel. there are three options on the left. Friends, Social groups and picture albums. :D

Ive been messing with them for a minute now.


The social group thing is cool. Its like having your own forum.
