<Center>Logan D has risen to prominence in the last few years, becoming one of the best up & coming DJ's in the scene as well as running his successful label, Low Down Deep Recordings and presenting his own bi-weekly Kool FM show.


Schooled from an early age in the ways of the jungle through his father the legendary Mickey Finn, Logan started listening to the music in 1993 before getting his first pair of Technics in 1996. Fast forward to 1998 and Logan had already earned himself a spot on London's number 1 pirate station, Kool FM. Starting to perform regularly over the country, he soon found himself taking his sound abroad.


After a good few years of putting in the hard work, Logan found himself promoted through the ranks at Kool FM to his regular 7-9 Super Sunday's slot which he shares with DJ Profile. Into 2006 and the launch of his label Low Down Deep saw Nightwalker, Majistrate & Nicol providing the production. This year has seen Estonia's finest Mutated Forms, up & comer DJ Pleasure, G Dub and Logan himself providing the beats for what is becoming one of the strongest jump up labels in the scene right now.


With a hectic DJ schedule that has seen him performing at a host of UK nights as well as regular appearances in Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Ibiza and Spain to name but a few on this night we are blessed to have an exclusive american apperiance.<center>

He definitely doesn't hate americans. His rap sheet is insane and it takes a lot of effort(on his part or agents part) to get him to even set foot into the states(Our gov thinks he's a terrorist). He would love to play in the states again....and I'd love to see the Hype selecta play again. I think the last time I saw him play was back in 99 at Buzz.

Jump up is not all massive wobble, TC-bull, like some people keep suggesting. I am NOT a fan of massive, obnoxious wobble, but I LOVE jump-up. Jump-up/hipstep is where it's at every day of the week. This party will be amazeringz. By chilling with the people I do, I'm submerged in hipstep and jump-up and some techy stuff all the time. And it's the best to dance to. If you're a jaded, wall-flower junglist, I could understand why you wouldn't enjoy it. It's not really hang-by-the-bar-and-drink-over-priced-bud-light-while-bobbing-your-head-partially-on-beat kind of dnb. It's get your fucking groove on and get hyped the fuck up dnb. I love pretty much all dnb except super heavy, dark stuff where it sounds reminiscent of Stomp the Musical because all you hear is unsteady bass and something that sounds like a homeless man beating a trashcan. But I'm not gonna sit there and hate on people who like it... do your own thing, and respect everyone else's.

that was actually the first time I ever saw drum and bass DJ. He was fucking badass on three decks and holding a burning cig while scratching. It wouldn't be until nearly four months later that I really started getting into DNB, but Hype is definitely my all time fav.

The channel is called VERSUS. It's the channel they have the NHL Playoffs on. On COX Cable in N. Virginia it's channel 241 but I doubt it's the same in Baltimore. If you can find out, that'd be sweet... if not, is there a bar really close to the club?
