Dew Tour is already ramping up for the 2008 season by kicking off the schedule. Action sports fans in the host cities will be happy to know that Dew Tour will be returning to Portland, Ore. and Orlando for the fourth time and for a second year to Baltimore, Cleveland and Salt Lake City.

Kick off the season in high-gear June 19 with the first of five Tour stops – the Panasonic Open in Baltimore, Maryland.

The pressure is on and the barometer is rising as the hottest Dew Tour season to date gets underway. Will Sheckler win again? What new tricks will be thrown down? Who will rule the 2008 season? These and all your other questions will be answered.

BMX rider Stephen Murray took a risk at the tour's first stop in Baltimore last month, and this time the crowd reacted with shocked silence. The 27-year-old athlete landed on his head during an attempt at a double back flip.


Murray remains in critical condition in a Baltimore hospital with three crushed vertebrae. After the fall, he couldn't speak and was paralyzed from the shoulders down. Wade Martin, president and general manager of the Dew Tour, said Murray's injury was the worst he had seen.
