<img width=300 height=300 src="http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z232/djstryder/fabriclive38_craze_packshot.jpg">

This is Craze – the man who arguably defined his hometown Miami turntablism scene, only to return now to reinvent this take on the Miami sound; a neo-genre of his own special blend of every which way club codes from the ghosts of discos past, present and future.

FABRICLIVE 38 is no exception. A rally ride though 74 minutes of no excuses dancefloor joy, shamelessly laden with guilty pleasures and block rockin' renegade styles from one of the most skilled DJs ever to stand before two turntables. Taking cuts from current darlings of the hour like Cool Kids, Bangers and Cash, Chromeo and Kid Sister to stalwart sounds from N.O.R.E, Coldcut and Tuff Crew to licks less likely from Earth, Wind and Fire, Armand Van Helden and The Chemical Brothers, this is a mix'n'blend masterclass.

"I wanted more of a club sound. I'm mixing up a lot of styles – I have some freestyle tracks on there, some bass tracks on there, I'm putting 'Ho Fo Sho' on there, I've got some hip hop tracks on at the beginning...I wanted to also big up Eli from New York, he's really dope right now, doing a bunch of remixes. His sound is like – well, I describe it as old school freestyle meets house. I wanted it to be a dance, club, mixed up sound – but not mashup. It's just more fun club stuff, some Klever stuff in there, some of Sinden's stuff in there...and it's ALL scratched up. I'll try to do the whole turntablist thing. I can't do a mix where it's just tracks playing." - Craze

<img width=300 height=200 src="http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z232/djstryder/Klever_02.jpg">

<font size="6">- Klever -</font>
<a href="http://www.myspace.com/kleverbeats">http://www.myspace.com/kleverbeats</a>

In the past 5 years, Klever has been performing his signature sets non-stop around the world (Taiwan, England, Ireland, Germany, New Zealand, Scandinavia, Australia, Japan, etc). He consistently amazes crowds and party-goers from 60 to 60,000 at world renowned venues such as (but not limited to) Miami..s Ice Palace, Tai Pae..s Ministry of Sound, NYC..s Roxy and Irving Plaza, Club Fabric in London, numerous House of Blues venues throughout the U.S., El Rey Theatre in L.A., and Atlanta..s Tabernacle. He has also showcased his skills at monumental events like the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, the Canadian Circa Skateboard Tour, Audiotistic in L.A., and the High Museum in Atlanta.

<img width=200 height=300 src="http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z232/djstryder/treasurefingers_hires.jpg">

<font size="6"> - Treasure Fingers -</font>
<a href=" http://www.myspace.com/treasurefingers"> http://www.myspace.com/treasurefingers</a>

Atlanta DJ du jour Treasure Fingers led a dance party on Saturday night tucked away in the furthest and smallest tent in the festival grounds. Although he was playing against dance-rock heavy weights The Killers and MSRTKRFT, the tent swelled with dancers. Mixing up the French disco of the self-produced track "Cross The Dancefloor" together with electro breaks of his remix of Fergie's "Glamorous" and blended with the freeze-and-release remakes of Pink Floyd and The Mamas And The Papas' tracks seemed only natural as he tweaked and turned one song into the next. This set only proved he can rock out unsuspecting crowds as well as his hometown masses.

Here's some info on the surprises to expect :thumbsup:

For over 10 years, Treasure Fingers has been killing dancefloors from Russia to Australia and everywhere in between. As one part of the dnb trio, Evol Intent, Treasure Fingers is no stranger to rocking parties. Deciding that dominating one genre wasn't enough, Treasure Fingers branched out of dnb on his own and is already THE one to look out for. You can check out his single "Cross the Dancefloor" on Craze's upcoming Fabric Live 38 release and on A-Trak's Fool's Gold label.

As far as bookings are concerned, this is just awesome, because I've been wanting to see Klever for the longest time.

Now if this were to get topped with the fierceness, I would definitely think about C2C presents Beat Torrent (i.e. the touring half of C2C).

The bulk of this event is being held in the warehouse.

That didnt leave much room for extra local talent since there were already three headliners.

We MIGHT get the clubside if its not taken. If we get it, we will book some people asap!

:-)

Until then enjoy:

James Nasty
DJ Craze
Klever
Treasure Fingers

All on the Main room sound system

We know about Taxlo... the Craze show is owned by Sonar. Taxlo is taxlo... For a good while it was up in the air which side of the club they wanted so Craze was booked while taxlo figured out what they wanted.

There were talks of taxlo just doing the longe, then the club/lounge...then the warehouse. then both events might of been open to everyone.

The def. so far is that Craze is in the warehouse. The rest is on Taxlo.

Sonar has used a split club format for a long time. Just this time around we are trying to make everyone happy.

btw, can we get James Nasty's name up on the sonar website so I can show my momma! ...just kiddin my mom doesnt care about the whole dj thing. She probably still wants me to be a doctor or lawyer or something.

I wonder how many djs on the board have the support of their parents in pursing a primary or secondary career as a dj. Survey time people, share your stories if you dare. Anyone ever had their parents, aunt, uncles whoever come out to a show and get tore up and party with you?

:woot:

taxidermy lodge

The bulk of this event is being held in the warehouse.

This whole event (Craze/Klever) is in the warehouse. This show and Tax Lo are two seperate events. it's gotta be that way.

It's got to be split because it's 2 different events with 2 different promoters. if we could make it one big thing, we would, but we can't. Guns N Bombs aren't flying in for free, so...

We are offering reduced admission ($5 instead of $8) to Tax Lo if you have a Craze/Klever ticket.

OMG, Craze & Klever tore the decks apart, put them back together again, then smashed the dancefloor with a wrecking ball of beats!!!!

To tell the truth, I was thoroughly impressed with Treasure Fingers. That man has got an ear for some serious dance music.

I got a small fix of <blink>FIDGET HOUSE</blink> last night and that shit was bangin', courtesy of Treasure Fingers. I talked to him after his set and over the last year or so he has really gotten into Fidget House.

Talkin' to Treasure Fingers, Craze, & Klever they seem like good stand up guys just layin' some amazing beats. Great times :thumbsup:

Lisa you gots to post the pic from Shorty's . . . . :star:
