Anybody aware of any ragga-jungle shows in NY this weekend? yeah yeah - I know this board is primarily for this region, but whatever....

Breakbeat science has moved!! it is no longer in NY (I spent 6 hours looking for it and its gone) i believe it is moving to chicago, plus they are useless for Ragga-Jungle, check out this board http://www.northeastjungle.com/forum/ it is run by Human? and lists all sorts of R-J events in the NE!

it would be nice wouldn't it? I think Koncrete Jungle in NY is on Monday Night, dunno if they represent ragga any more tho, It seems like they've deviated from its original format now that they're in so many states....

Their mailorder and shipping is in Chicago now. Breakbeat Science's physical store is a shared space with Halcyon in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY.

unfortunately, there won't be any ragga in NYC this weekend, but if there was you would definitely see it on the Breakbeat Science Forum as mentioned previously.

Hey I went to Breakbeat science's store last year and it is still in Manhatten. It took me a little while to find it, but is actually now down in the lower east side. Walk down east Houston street and take a right on Ochard street. It is on the first block of Orchard on the right side.
It's a little weird when you walk in, because it looks like a clothing store and it has no sign for breakbeat science. If you go all the way to the back of the store there is a door that looks like a book shelf filled with records. On the other side of the door is where they keep all their records. I guess record sales haven't been so good lately...Here is the actual address:
