I'd like to keep it local (Baltimore) so that we can bring out as many people as possible. I'd also like DJ that can play all diff. genres including but not limited to...
-Hip Hop (mainstream, underground, old skool, 90's, the whole gamut)
-Funk-Disco-Soul
-House & Baltimore Club (for later on in the night)
-Downtempo-trip hop
-Pop (maybe a few good bangers thrown in there)
I don't want to micromanage you... but if you can spin at different types of NON EDM (for lack of a better word.. non rave type events) and keep a diverse bar/small club crowd moving/nodding their heads then you can do this easily.
We have Technics 1200 mk2 Tables, a decent mixer (recommend you bring your own) and some CDJ-100's. PA system (Powered JBL Eon's), Monitor (Powered JBL EON), and some simple mood lights. It's a cool venue if you haven't been here before and the food/beer is awesome. There is a decent sized wood dance floor and lots of mirrors so everyone can look at themselves looking all extra sexy. We do have live acts here alot, so if you know any bands, that would be awesome.

[b]Message: Your REALISTIC (please be honest) draw, your myspace page, and any bands/dj's/performers that you would want to bring with you to play and bring out more people. A DJ mix that you think would fit this type of venue. It doesn't have to be exactly what you would play, but just something to show me that you know how to track select.
We DO have a very generous monetary compensation and bar/food tab to pay the DJ's/Band that will get you into the new year the "right way"!
